What kind of testing was done on your Miami-Dade approved or hurricane resistant exterior doors?

Exterior main front doors, exterior french doors, patio doors manufactured by Deco Design Center are solid mahogany doors that have undergone extreme impact tests such as the large and small missile impact test, hurricane simulated wind test, water resistance test, and forced entry test. These strenuous hurricane stimulated tests when approved are referred by Miami-Dade County building code department as NOA (Notice of Acceptance) and are offered by Miami-Dade County to approve a product to conform to the building codes set forth by the city of Miami-Dade and is accepted by all cities in the State of Florida.

Several other hurricane prone coastal states and the Caribbean islands allow and approve the use of the Miami-Dade NOA to apply to their building codes. All our mahogany exterior doors are approved for use in high velocity hurricane zones (HVHZ).

Most models from our entrance doors collection are impact resistant with approval certification.
