Wrought Iron Doors not Rod Iron Doors

Rod Iron Doors is another way of saying wrought iron doors. Many people think that because the doors are made of iron and that there are maybe vertical pieces of iron that the name should be rod iron doors. This is a design or name debate that has gone on for many years. Technically speaking, this sounds very similar to wrought iron doors. Rod iron doors however, is an incorrect spelling of this word. The correct spelling obviously is wrought iron or some people just say steel doors.
